Biographie > profond métal mécanique

Métal, Industriel... Quel autre pays que la Suisse pouvait abriter un duo aussi "électro-métal" que Deep Metal Mechanic ? Gilles est un fan de son et de machines, il joue du piano et bidouille, il va brancher Laurent qui est lui guitariste... On est en 1999 et le groupe commence à bosser... En septembre 2002, ils sortent un premier album autoproduit : System failure mais au même moment Gilles part pour Los Angeles afin de se perfectionner dans l'utilisation et la maîtrise du son... Laurent va en profiter pour composer et enregistrer l'excellent avec son autre groupe MotherKingdom. Un an plus tard, le duo se reforme et travaille de nouveau pour accoucher d'une bombe : Urban guerilla.

Une magnifique bastos avec gravé le logo de Deep Metal Mechanic, le tout sur fond noir, voilà l'artwork du dugipak, avec le nom du groupe et le titre de l'album (Urban Guerilla), sous le CD on trouve une pensée : War is terrorism with a bigger budget... on se doute que les lascars ne font pas dans la finesse... Mais si on pouvait s'attendre à une attaque de type panzer, on aura la demi surprise d'un assaut plus proche de celui d'une mitrailleuse lourde... more...
